Every build decision is shaped around platform durability, component compatibility, and a cleaner hunting setup pathway — because in the field, practical performance matters more than marketing.
Field Point Test Kit
A practical field point kit for testing front-end weight, refining arrow balance, and working through your setup before committing to a final build.
Description
Test the Setup, Not Just the Specs
The Prodigy Field Point Test Kit gives you a practical way to compare five front-end weights using your actual arrow setup before committing to a full set of field points.
Changing point weight can affect total arrow weight, front-of-centre balance and how the arrow feels through the shot. Testing each option side by side helps you narrow the range and make a more informed setup decision.
Ideal for archers building a new arrow system, refining an existing setup or comparing different front-end weight options across raw and Pro Built arrows.
Use the Kit To
- Compare five field-point weights on the same arrow setup
- Assess changes in total arrow weight and front-of-centre balance
- Narrow down your preferred front-end weight
- Reduce guesswork before purchasing a full set
- Compare how different arrow platforms respond to added point weight
Kit Includes
- 2 × 100gr field points
- 2 × 125gr field points
- 2 × 150gr field points
- 2 × 175gr field points
- 2 × 200gr field points
10 field points total.
Setup Note
Point weight is only one part of arrow selection. Final configuration should also consider shaft spine, arrow length, bow specifications and intended use.
Designed to Work Together
Most arrows are assembled from compatible components.
Prodigy arrows are designed as complete systems.
Every shaft, insert, point, and nock is selected to work together, not just fit together. The result is better balance, more reliable energy transfer, and consistent performance from arrow to arrow.
This approach reduces tuning time, removes compatibility guesswork, and delivers predictable results whether you’re shooting targets or setting up for the field.
Ordering & Setup
No. Prodigy is set up so you can start with a single arrow, test your setup, and build out once you know what works.
This helps you avoid buying 6 or 12 arrows before you are confident in the platform, spine, weight, and component direction.
Raw arrows are supplied unbuilt, with the selected components supplied loose.
Built arrows are assembled with the selected build configuration before dispatch.
Raw is best if you want to cut, tune, and finish the setup yourself. Built is best if you want a cleaner setup pathway with less assembly work before testing and use.
Each Prodigy series is built around a different setup direction.
Cervidae is suited to hunters wanting a balanced hunting arrow pathway.
Banteng is suited to heavier impact-focused setups.
Traditional is supplied raw only for traditional archery users.
If you are unsure, contact Prodigy with your bow type, draw weight, draw length, current arrow length, and what you are setting up for.
Products & Components
No. Field points are sold separately unless clearly stated on the product page.

The Field Point Test Kit is designed to help you test different front-end weights before committing to a final setup.
